Every commission is different, but the base is often the same so here's a general description of a previous collaboration from first email to end result.
You're looking for a design for your business/project and after some research (or someone recommended) you ended up at my website. If you like my style, it's time to send me an email. Try to to be as elaborate as possible in what you're looking for, so I can supply a accurate quote and see if I have time.
After you agreed on the price we start. To get an idea what you're looking for, I'll ask you to fill out a questionnaire. Some are required, but you can skip the questions that don't apply, do try to fill out the rest as much as possible.
After I've received all the information, I start sketching. Within 2-3 workday you will receive 3-5 sketches from me via email.
Next we'll email back and forth for a while. You give me feedback and I edit the designs to your wish(es). Try to be concreet, remarks like 'I don't like it' don't really help me. So try to describe what you don't like, like color, shape, font, etcetera.
After you're happy with the design, I will email you an invoice. After I've received the payment I will collect all te files and send you a dropbox download-link. This is temporary link, so save the files on your computer.
Depending on the type of commission you will receive vector (AI), JPG, (transparent) PNG and/or print ready PDF's files from me. Including color codes, font names and if applicable (free) download-links.
